Hello! I am Alexandra Sabau holmes, an early-career archivist and multimedia artist based in Knoxville, TN.

After earning my Bachelor of Art in Art History in 2020 and my Master of Science in Information Sciences in 2022, I accepted a position at the University of Tennessee Knoxville as the assistant university archivist.

as an artist, I am Currently exploring the intersections of fine art, folk art, and functionality inspired by my Romanian and Orthodox upbringing in East Tennessee. I am also endlessly inspired by my professional career working with historical records and primary source documents.

I aspire to create everyday art that is playful, introspective, tender, and emotional.
